Welcome to Rose Hill Bank...
We have been notified of fraudulent emails using the name and logo of two financial organizations.
The National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) have advised us that fraudulent emails have been reported using their names and logos. These emails have been reported in a variety of formats. One informs the “customer” that an ACH transaction has been cancelled. One tells the “customer” that their account violates the Patriot Act and deposit insurance has been suspended. Another advice the “customer” that “the FDIC has officially declared the bank your accounts are with as failed, thus, taking control of its assets.” Again, ALL THESE EMAILS ARE FRAUDULENT!
These emails are attempts to obtain personal information or load malicious software on the recipient’s computer. Do not open attachments or follow Web links in unsolicited emails from unknown parties or from parties with whom you do not normally communicate.
